Erik ten Hag 'adultery'
Manchester United have been accused of "committing adultery" on manager Erik ten Hag by club legend Andy Cole.
Cole toldBetfred:
Admitting that you’ve spoken to another manager is like telling your wife that you’ve been messaging another girl. It’s like committing adultery.
For Erik ten Hag to claim that he was told by the club that they were speaking to Thomas Tuchel is crazy.
It’s just strange and even more so when you consider how public it’s all been.

Man Utd transfer blow
A Uefa rule has allegedly stopped Manchester United from moving for a top target and a Premier League rival is set to take advantage.
Nice star Jean-Clair Todibo has been among United's top transfer targets and has been in talks for months over a summer switch.
However, the fact that the French outfit is also owned by Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Ineos has scuppered that prospect.
That is according to Fabrizio Romano, who posted on X: “Jean-Clair Todibo deal for Man United is currently off and highly unlikely due to UEFA rules.
“Talks were advanced with all parties keen for months but Nice and Man Utd with same ownership playing same European competition next season means no green light.”
NowFoot Mercatohave claimed Aston Villa are now looking set to sign the centre-back.

Bukayo Saka advice
Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand reckons England manager Gareth Southgate should deploy Arsenal star Bukayo Saka at left-back against Denmark with Luke Shaw still injured.
If Shaw’s not fit then 100 per cent, we’re bang in trouble.
We would have to put Saka at left-back. I’d play Saka at left-back then I would.
If you ain’t got Shaw and you ain’t got [Kieran] Trippier then I would play Saka at left-back.
I’d play it where as soon as we get possession Saka is a left winger.

Shearer blasts United's ETH treatment
Alan Shearer reckons Man Utd have undermined Erik ten Hag's authority with their managerial search.
He told Betfair: "It's just a bizarre situation, it's not how things should be done in football. If you are going to speak to other managers then speak to them, but keep it in house, you can't let the public know.
"To be undermined like he has done, I know they're now saying that he has their support and they want him to carry on, but from a personal and human point of view it's not the right way to treat someone.
"It takes a lot of his power away from him, will the players look at him and think he's a really strong manager and he's in a strong position? Probably not because of the way they have treated him."

“Every good team has a player who can receive a ball on the half turn, set the rhythm of the team and control a game.
"I love Bellingham, Rice and Alexander-Arnold. They are all amazing players.
